My Qualifications

Mike Vance has been a Financial Professional since 1998 completing the necessary requirements for the Series 7, Series 63, and a General Lines Agent qualified for life, accident, health, & HMO insurance.

Mike passed the General Securities Principal examination (Series 24) in 2004 allowing the supervision of General Securities Representatives and the business of a broker/dealer.

A Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas graduate, Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 1990.  His career started in the golf business where he gained invaluable experience working as an engineer in a golfball production plant, managing a golf equipment test facilty, and finally as an operations manager for a mail-order golf company in Irving, Texas.

Seeking bigger challenges, Mike decided to leave the golf business and pursue a career in the financial services.  Mike's mission is a committment to value added service with a focus on investment planning.  This committment has resulted in him specializing in the fields of educational savings, debt-reduction plans, tax-efficient accounts, and complete retirement planning.  Back in March of 2004, Mike was seen in the front page section of the Dallas Morning News commenting on credit card debt and its impact on financial planning.

On a personal note, I live in Farmers Branch, TX with my wife Maureen and our three children: Henry, Katie, and Anne Marie.  We are members of St. Rita Catholic School and Church.  I enjoy playing golf, soccer, and softball when not coaching and volunteering with youth sports through the YMCA and Dallas Parochial League.
